Now that the forum is up and running, we are going to start using the blogs as they are intended. Doctor Die-cast and I will update you periodically about what is going on at Motorsports Authentics, RCCA and in the world of die-cast.
Our first RCCA Elite member only event is planned for this Saturday in Indy. Dr. D. and Tim Trout from Beckett's will be on hand, along with Mark Dyer, President and CEO of Motorsports Authentics. You never know who else might be dropping by. Big annoucements are scheduled this weekend,so there should be a buzz in the air.
We are in the planning stages for two additional RCCA Elite member events this year during the Texas and Charlotte race weekends. More information about these events will be coming soon.
The August catalog will be dropping in the mail this week and should be posted to the website by Friday. Thunder and other new items will not be available for pre-order until the 1st but you can get your shopping list ready.
I will check back in when I return from Indy.
I will be at the Indy too. Hope to see you there.

Wow!!!! The first RCCA members only event was great! I truly know that I am a part of a close knit organization and not just a catalog/warehouse retailer. I met so many people from the sport of NASCAR including the 2008 AllState 400 at the Brickyard Champion Jimmie Johnson, I learned a lot about what goes into the actual production of diecast cars, and finally my wife and I got to spend the day with some of the people who make everything in the diecast world happen. Thanks again Mark, Barb, and everyone else who made this weekend an experience I will never forget.

I also attending the first RCCA Indy all day event. Just to heard what all goes into the production of the car to bring them to market was outstanding. To meet Mr. Dyer, Barb Zok & her marketing staff. Speak face to face with Howard (Mr. Diecast) & learn the steps in making the cars especially the race win versions. The garage pit tour was a dream come true to meet Jimmie Johnson & Jeff Gordon in person. If you ever have the opportunity to attend one of these events, you never will be disappointed. It was a great event. I thought I died & went to NASCAR Heaven!

Wow that sounds awesome. Would be cool to see a video of the presentation on how the diecasts are made. Maybe one will come to kansas city soon. We have plenty of convention space lol.

I would really love to see how diecast cars and trucks are made. That would make a very interesting article.
Thanks
